Mehmet Bulut - Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi

Mehmet Bulut- CV
1970 yılında Çanakkale’de doğdu. Ilk ve orta eğitimini Çanakkale’de,
Yüksek öğrenimini İzmir’de İktisat alanında tamamladı. 1994-1996
yılları arasında Ankara ve İstanbul’da iki farklı Üniversitede ayrı ayrı
doktora derslerini bitirip “yeterlilik” sınavlarını da başarıyla
tamamladıktan sonra çalışmayı planladığı konudan dolayı Hollanda’da
doktora yapmaya karar verdi. Ekonomi Tarihi alanında 1998 yılında
Posthumus Enstitüsü’nden ikinci yüksek lisans ve 2000 yılında da
Utrecht Üniversitesi’nden doktora derecelerini aldı.
2001 yılında
Yardımcı Doçent, 2003’te Doçent ve 2008 yılında Profesör oldu.
Araştırma Görevlisi olarak 1993 yılında başladığı çalışma hayatına
Başkent Üniversitesi’nde devam etti. İlgili Üniversitede, Öğretim üyeliği,
İktisat Bölüm Başkanlığı, Fakülte Kurulu ve Fakülte Yönetim Kurulu
Üyeliği görevlerinde bulundu. 2011 yılında Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi
Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi kurucu Dekanı ve Rektör Yardımcısı oldu, 2012
yılında YÖK Üyeliği’ne atandı. Ereğli Demir Çelik Fabrikaları A.Ş.
(ERDEMİR), İskenderun Demir Çelik Fabrikaları A.Ş. (İSDEMİR), Sollac
Ambalaj A.Ş., Erenko Mühendislik A.Ş. Erdemir Romanya A.Ş., Yarımca
Porselen A.Ş gibi kamu ve özel kurumlarda Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliği; TT
NET A.Ş. ve AVEA A.Ş gibi şirketlerde Denetim Kurulu görevlerinde
bulundu.
Uzun dönem (long term-longue durée) ekonomik kalkınma ve gelişme,
ülkeler arası ekonomik farklılıkların nedenleri, iliskiler ve performans
karşılaştırmaları, uluslararası ekonomi politik, Osmanli iktisat ve
medeniyeti, Osmanlı-Avrupa-Atlantik Ekonomik İlişkileri, İktisat Tarihi,
İktisadi Düşünce, Finans ve Kurumlarla ilgili alanlarda çalışmaktadır.
