It has become necessary particularly for developing countries to give attention to this issue. In Turkey and in Central Asian Republics which are in the status of developing countries, the effect and the importance of women's labor force employment on development is one of the issues that need to be addressed. For this purpose, the data of the female labor force in Turkey's and the Central Asian Republics' (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan) economy, and the relation between economic development will be studied with the panel data analysis. Özellikle kalkınmakta olan ülkelerin bu konuya önem vermesi gerekli hale gelmiştir. Kalkınmakta olan ülke statüsünde olan Orta Asya Cumhuriyetleri ve Türkiye’de kadın işgücünün istihdamının kalkınmadaki etkisi ve önemi ele alınması gereken konuların başında gelmektedir. Bu amaçla Orta Asya Cumhuriyetleri (Kazakistan, Özbekistan, Kırgızistan, Türkmenistan, Tacikistan ve Azerbaycan) ve Türkiye ekonomisindeki kadın işgücüne ait veriler ve ekonomik kalkınma arası ilişki panel veri analiziyle araştırılacaktır.
