Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to provide students investigate international economic relations in
terms of foreign trade transactions, policies, instruments and international trade financing.
Furthermore, general structure of foreign trade in Turkey will be discussed.
Learning Outcomes
1. To be able to define the international trade concepts and understand foreign trade
theories.
2. To be able to define, understand and compare instruments of foreign trade policy.
3.
To be able to explain the theoretical foundations of international trade.
4. To be able to evaluate relationship between economic development and international
trade theories by using economic indicators.
5. To be able to prepare and present projects about foreign trade transactions and finance
also to be able to make group discussion.
6. To be able to interpret the international trade data, events and application.
